Lunarcam to bounce back at Scottsville
Jack Milner Lunarcam loves racing at Hollywoodbets Scottsville and could give punters the best banker on a testing card on Wednesday. The Dennis Drier-trained gelding has had three runs at the course for two wins and a fourth place and lines up in Race 7, a MR 90 Handicap over 1000m. The distance is the only concern because his only loss at Scottsville came in his last race which was over 1000m. Ironically, the three-year-old son of Captain Of All showed good pace throughout, leading for most of the journey and then getting collared close home to end up 1.20 lengths behind Fly The Coup. The going was soft on that occasion and perhaps he was caught out by the conditions. It was also his second race after a layoff and perhaps that also played a part. In his race prior to that Lunarcam raced over 1100m and ran out a very comfortable winner, beating Canadian Bolt by 2.10 lengths. Tristan Godden takes the ride for the first time.
