ADJUSTED RACING CONDITIONS - UPDATE

4Racing wishes to inform stakeholders that following a two-month trial period of the adjusted racing conditions, we have conducted a thorough review of the outcomes and overall impact of the initiative. As you are aware, the trial introduced more flexible race viability criteria, allowing races to proceed with a minimum of two runners and more than two trainers, alongside a scaled stakes structure based on field size. While this approach was implemented with the intention of supporting race continuity and participation, it has not delivered the outcomes we had anticipated. After careful consideration of the data and broader industry feedback, it has been decided to revert to the previous racing conditions, effective from the scheduled meeting at the Vaal on 5 May 2026.
