Zanzoun can go one better at Yarmouth

Zanzoun made a decent start on debut and is the pick for the second division of the Join Moulton Racing Syndicate Fillies' Novice Stakes at Yarmouth on Monday.

Trained by John and Thady Gosden, this homebred hails from a Classic Juddmonte family with her dam, Franconia, a Listed-winning half-sister to Group One victor Winsili.

Zanzoun in fact only found another Juddmonte runner too good at the first attempt, keeping on at the finish over 1400m against a much sharper rival in Tabiti.

That filly has since gone on to strike at Group Three level, giving the form a very pleasing look as Zanzoun moves up to 1600m here.
