World Pool on 2 meets, The Equator no first-timer

TAB customers can bet into the huge pools generated by the Hong Kong Jockey Club World Pool on two race meetings this Saturday - the Hollywoodbets Gold Challenge fixture at HWB Greyville and Derby Day at Epsom in the UK.

At HWB Greyville all TAB Win, Place, Exacta, Quinella, and Swinger bets in Races 7 to 10 will be commingled into the World Pool.

The same five TAB bet types will be commingled into the World Pool tote on all eight races at the Betfred Epsom Derby meeting, as well as TAB Trifecta pools.

Exciting Irish-bred import The Equator makes his South African debut in the 4Racing Jubilee Stakes (Race 8) at Turffontein on Sunday and it must be noted that the four-year-old is not a first-timer.

Formerly trained by Aidan O’Brien, he ran six times in England and Ireland for a win and four places and, as such, the first-timer rule will not apply to him in the Pick 6 and BiPot.
