Malaysian racing returns to Selangor on Saturday, featuring a thrilling nine-race card with highly competitive action expected throughout the day.

PACIFIC DELIGHT and VOLCANIC finished second and third, respectively, in a 1020m Class 4B contest recently, and both are set to clash again in the 1150m Class 4 event (Race 6) at Kuala Lumpur.

This time, VOLCANIC will benefit from a better weight assignment, even with the Jerlyn Seow claim on PACIFIC DELIGHT. With just half a length separating the pair a fortnight ago, VOLCANIC looks well placed to turn the tables.

Having scored twice in four local outings, including a winning hat trick last month, VOLCANIC's only blemish came two runs ago when he missed the start. However, the Simon Dunderdale-trained gelding is back in form and poised to bounce back.

Five-year-old GOOD CHILLI can atone for his first defeat in the country when he steps out in the 1020m Class 5A contest this Saturday.

Arriving from Singapore as a 27-start maiden, GOOD CHILLI made an immediate impact on his local debut, winning a Class 5 event on September 21. The five-year-old followed up with a successive victory over the same distance three weeks later after racing on speed.

Although GOOD CHILLI had every chance last start, finishing just outside the placings, he looks well-placed with the apprentice claim and is poised for a winning return this Saturday.
