Trainer Alan Greeff has been cutting into the lead of rival trainer Gavin Smith in the race for East Cape champion trainer and he can close that gap on Friday as he could pick up at least three winners.
Three Rocks looks the stand-out bet in Race 2 while Vandalise (Race 1) and Silver Stardust (Race 7) should also run big races on the day.
Vandalise did not do much when trained in the Western Cape but did better when trying the Polytrack and was runner-up behind Watch Tower.
This Captain Of All filly only found her best stride late in that 1000m sprint and gets to go 1400m this time which she should appreciate.
Heavenly Blue was highly thought of as a racehorse and now gets to prove himself as a stallion with his filly Three Rocks contesting Race 2 over 1000m.
The filly looked a bit unlucky not to win on debut when inexperience seemed to cost her and she was only 0.75 lengths behind a useful yardstick in Paris Bell.
Three Rocks was eating into the lead in the closing stages and had rival in this, Savic, more than three lengths behind her that day.
Both try the Polytrack this time but it is hard to believe Savic can turn the tables with Three Rocks expected to be smarter this time.
Silver Stardust has been very expensive to follow as a punter but his only win was on the Polytrack and he has run many decent races when beaten not so far.
His third-place finish last time out was encouraging as he was making late progress after being slow away and he should run well in Race 7, a MR 68 Handicap over 1600m.
