Rainbow Bridge among world’s best

December 2021

Rainbow Bridge, winner of the Cape Town Met in January, is ranked the joint sixth best racehorse in the world on the latest LONGINES rankings with an international rating of 119.

Mishriff, winner of the recent Saudi Cup and the G1 Prix du Jockey Club (G1) in France last year, tops the world rankings with a rating of 122.

Australia’s Nature Strip (121) is the second highest rated horse in the first edition of the rankings for 2021.

In co-third is Charlatan, who was runner-up in the Saudi Cup, as well as Hong Kong-based runners Exultant and Golden Sixty on 120.

Golden Sixty has now won 13 races in a row.

The three horses in the co-sixth position are Rainbow Bridge, America’s Knicks Go who finished fourth in the Saudi Cup, and compatriot Life Is Good, the highest rated 3-year-old.
