Racing schedule amended again

The local racing schedule has been shuffled like a deck of cards at a Blackjack table recently due to the inclement weather in the Western Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.

Well, it does seem that mother nature is giving local racegoers a chance to dry off, so hopefully they will be able to play the hand dealt on Monday.

So, for starters, there will be no racing at Kenilworth on Tuesday. The meeting scheduled for Saturday 17 August at Kenilworth is moved to Durbanville, while the Scottsville meeting on Sunday 18 August moves to Greyville.

An added meeting is also scheduled for Durbanville on Wednesday 21 August.

So, this is the schedule as it stands.

Wednesday 14 August Greyville Poly.

Thursday 15 August Turffontein Inside.

Friday 16 August Fairview Turf.

Saturday 17 August Durbanvillle.

Sunday 18 August Greyville Turf.

Tuesday 20 August Vaal Classic.

Wednesday 21 August Vaal.

Wednesday 21 August Durbanville.

Thursday 22 August Greyville Turf.
