New Furious Room experience for punters

Racegoers at Turffontein now have a trackside venue in which they can sit down in comfort and work out their bets while enjoying a pub lunch or a drink.

The Furious Room has been converted into a TAB punters’ lounge and will be open for business from the start of the Highveld Spring-Summer Feature Season at Turffontein this Saturday 3 September.

Entrance to the Furious Room is free and there are ample TVs to take in a dedicated feed of the action at the track or Racing240 on the DStv platform, which also covers all the major international races.

TAB bets can be taken inside the venue, which will offer refreshments and pub-type meals. There’s a grand-opening promotion in the Furious Room this Saturday. Take a R50 bet with TAB inside the venue and get a pie and a beer or soft drink for free.

The refurbished Furious Room is the first of several innovations that 4Racing will be introducing in order to enhance the on-course experience for racegoers.
