Master Milliner can make a winning return to Goodwood in the Royal Sussex Regiment Handicap.

Emma Lavelle’s chestnut is twice a winner at the track already, having taken the last two renewals of the Coral Goodwood Handicap over an extended trip of two and a half miles and half a furlong.

He is a winner over the two-mile trip he will face this time too and partnered by Charles Bishop again, he can maintain his stellar record at the track.

David O’Meara’s Alligator Alley can back up a fair Goodwood effort last time in the William Hill Most Top Price Runners Handicap.

The seven-year-old is a seasoned campaigner over sprint distances and after reaching a career-high mark early last year, his rating has gently declined since.

In August, he won for the first time in almost 12 months and last time over course and distance he was the runner-up, an effort that could line him up to go one better now he seems to be on a workable mark.

Retracement enjoyed a confidence-boosting score at Pontefract when sent off as an odds-on favourite and can benefit from that in the Cleansing Services Group Novice Stakes.

At Chepstow, James Tate’s Caffu Zafeen can get off the mark in the In Memory Of Late David Lucas Maiden Stakes, run over six furlongs.

The Exceed And Excel colt can be forgiven for a luckless and ultimately well-beaten debut when hampered in a Kempton novice in June.

He was subsequently second in a seven-furlong novice at Haydock and then runner-up again at Southwell when returning to six furlongs last time out.

He remains at the same trip at Chepstow and in the same grade, so he looks set to be competitive under Billy Loughnane.

My Delilah is another Loughnane mount worth following in the David Lucas, Wales Leading Independent Bookmaker Handicap.

Adrian Wintle’s filly only came up short by a neck over the same course and distance recently, recovering well from a shaky start.

Bonnie’s Boy can make it third time lucky in Newcastle’s Get Raceday Ready Novice Stakes following runner-up efforts at Beverley and Thirsk, rallying well after ducking right when leaving the stalls on the latter occasion.

King Of Ithaca can complete a course and distance double in division two of the N&L Franklin Developments Ltd Handicap at Southwell after travelling sweetly throughout when scoring there a month ago.
