However, he finally will be in action once again as he makes his comeback on Saturday at Hollywoodbets Scottsville.

The good news is that he has some decent rides on the day so hopefully he can make his return with a winner or two. 

Marcus can get out of the starting blocks as early as Race 1 where he rides Specially Selected.

Specially Selected disappointed on his local debut when making his debut for trainer Paul Lafferty but that run can be forgiven as it was over a trip short of his best and he was returning after having been gelded.

He will know more about the undulating Scottsville track now and should relish racing over 1200m.

One of his main rivals, one-eyed Geronimo, has secured a draw on the outside which could be costly as it should see him hang inwards again.

His next ride which comes up in Race 3, a Maiden Plate for fillies and mares over 1200m, aboard One Bite At A Time who ran a cracker in her last race looks the one to beat.

But she is a bit of handful and is switching from Polytrack to turf. Poppy Of Bayeaux could take full advantage, especially as improvement is expected after a four-month break. The pair should make up a decent Swinger.

Marcus has fair earning potential aboard his other rides, Prince Of Taranto in Race 5 and Alittlebitnaughty in Race 8.
