Make a ‘Pritti’ profit in the Cape

The meeting scheduled for Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Wednesday was postponed until Friday due to the track being unraceable but hopefully there has been enough sunshine to allow the meeting to finally go ahead. 

Champion Trainer Justin Snaith sends a strong team of 17 (three reserves) to the country course and has runners in eight of the nine races, with strong winning claims in most.

Well-bred Vercingetorix filly I'm So Pritti is one of the better bets on the card and is, in all likelihood, the yard's best runner on the day.

He runs in Race 3 over 1250m.

Snaith's charge has improved with every outing and finished an encouraging second over the course and distance last time out and needn't make a great deal of progress on her three-year-old debut to score under JP van der Merwe on her seasonal bow.

Liketheclappers has let the side down lately, finishing downfield in consecutive outings over 1400m. However, both displays could be attributed to rain-affected (soft) ground, and a firmer surface is expected to yield an improved performance and a more competitive showing from this son of former Durban July winner Pomodoro in Race 7.
