Kranji bets refunded after communications breakdown

All single-race bets on Races 10 and 11, and Win and Place bets on Race 12, on Saturday’s Kranji race meeting in Singapore had to be refunded because of a communications breakdown at Premier Gateway International (PGI) on the Isle of Man.

All TAB and TAB Gold bets on races in Singapore are hosted by PGI, which commingles Win and Place bets into the Singapore Turf Club tote.

Intermittent communication issues from before Race 10 resulted in all single-race bets on Races 10 and 11 having to be refunded, as well as Win and Place wagers on Race 12 and Pick 3 and Daily Double bets. It was possible to declare payouts on the Bipot, Place Accumulator and Jackpot as those pools were closed before communications failed.

TAB and TAB Gold apologise to all customers for the inconvenience, especially those who missed out on winning bets because of the communication issues.
