The race meeting scheduled for Saturday 10 August at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth has been cancelled.
According to Cape Racing the track received 32mm overnight leading to Friday, with further rain forecast.
"On Sunday, we will evaluate the track condition at both Hollywoodbets Kenilworth and Hollywoodbets Durbanville. Once completed, we will examine the weather forecast for early next week and make a decision on the prospects of Tuesday’s race meeting. It is likely that the meeting will have to be moved to Hollywoodbets Durbanville or postponed," reads a media release issued by Cape Racing.
Nominations for racing at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday 17 August have remained open.
Further races will be added to the programme in the next two meetings, where necessary.
