A Kenilworth race meeting this Saturday 10 July has been added to the programme to replace last Wednesday and Saturday’s Cape Town fixtures that both had to be abandoned because of rain.
A total of 235mm of rain has been recorded at Kenilworth in the last seven days.
The added meeting this Saturday will slot in alongside an existing Turffontein fixture and comprise eight races, which where possible replace events at the two abandoned fixtures and fit into the flow of the overall race programme.
The programme is headed by a 1200m Pinnacle Stakes with four Merit-Rated Handicaps, two Maidens and a Maiden Juvenile Plate.
Horses must be entered on Monday 5 July with final declarations on Tuesday.
