Hawwaam has arrived at Wilgerbosdrift Farm, his place of birth, following his return from the United Kingdom.
Mike de Kock commented: “It’s wonderful to have Hawwaam back, and having a horse you trained go to stud gives any trainer a sense of pride and achievement., especially one you bought as a yearling.
“Jehan Malherbe and I also bought Vercingetorix and Rafeef as yearlings and to see them go on to successful careers as stud has been very satisfying.
“We wish Mary Slack and Wilgerbosdrift all the best with Hawwaam, who has the pedigree, looks and Grade 1 winning record to make it big at stud!” –mikedekockracing.com
