The Alan Greeff stable has a very strong hand in Tuesday’s feature race at the Fairview Polytrack.
Two Master Of My Fate fillies, Summer Odyssey and Joy And Peace, are the principal runners in the R150 000 Aloe Handicap for three-year-old fillies over 1300m.
A small field of seven runners will face the starter in this Non-Black Type event at 16:00. It is the seventh race on the card.
Summer Odyssey should find the distance to her liking after nearly winning her last start over 1200m on the Poly.
She has stable jockey Richard Fourie in the irons and has been very consistent lately. She looks ready to win.
Joy And Peace hasn’t been as consistent as her stablemate but likes the Poly and should be right there if producing her best. Chase Maujean takes the ride.
Hildelita and Enchanted Sky from the Gavin Smith yard, along with Greeff’s other filly Back For More, will be ready to pounce if the top two at the betting boards are not at their best.
Greeff has very strong runners in some of the other races also. He started Friday’s meeting with a winner and can do so again on Tuesday.
The filly Si Gioca should get it right this time after three consecutive second placings.
Si Gioca is a banker for us in the first leg of the Bipot, race one at 12:30.
Torrone made a good Fairview Poly debut last month and could win the second race for the Smith stable.
He is another possible banker in the Bipot and in the first leg of the Place Accumulator, which starts with the second race at 13:00.
Race three gets the Pick Six underway at 13:35 and Greeff can have a huge say with Mary Lamb (race 4), Final Edition (race 5) and Summer Odyssey (race 7).
Mary Lamb will contest a Novice Plate for fillies and mares over 1600m. Kendall Minnie retains the ride in the first leg of the first Jackpot.
Jockey Muzi Yeni is enjoying a very good Fairview season but will not be riding (medically indisposed) on Tuesday.
