Get that booty down to Turffontein

If you're not at Turffontein Racecourse, you're missing out on the greatest event the City of Joburg has to offer today.

The Jazz and Seafood Festival on Derby Day has kicked off with the beautiful cacophony of thundering hooves, accompanied by the smooth sounds provided by Sibonelo Kodisang on the saxophone.

This third-year music student at Wits is originally from Springs on the East Rand, but currently resides in Braamfontein, just over the hill from Turffontein, while he is completing his studies.

The racing, fun, entertainment and jazz music is scheduled to go on into the early evening, so if you're not not yet at the track, get that booty down here and join the best party in the city.
