As was the case three weeks ago, another 10-event Cape Racing fixture at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Sunday is headlined by Winter Series feature races.
The third and final legs for both sexes are Listed contests - the Stormsvlei Stakes (Race 7) restricted to fillies and mares, and the Listed Pocket Power Stakes (Race 8) - and will likely be won by Leg 2 scorers Time For Love and Garrix, respectively.
There are several other attractive betting propositions throughout the card but those aforementioned last-start winners are good value to follow up and add to their tallies.
Grade 3 Variety Club Mile Stakes (Leg 1) Garrix was a hard-fought winner of the Grade 3 Legal Eagle Stakes in Leg 2 under Gavin Lerena and Piet Steyn's charge should complete a series cleansweep with the same rider aboard.
The progressive son of Vercingetorix is undefeated in two starts as a gelding and the extended 1950m distance will be very much to his liking.
Familiar foes Otto Luyken and Mucho Dinero are closely matched on the form of their 1800m meeting in the Legal Eagle Stakes and both older rivals are weighted to turn the tables on their last-start conqueror.
However, neither has the same scope for improvement so it should pay to stick with Garrix whose progress can be followed with confidence.
