Mount Anderson (Kelly Mitchley) will be defending his title in the R200 000 Betway Insurebet Friendly City Stakes on Friday at the Fairview Turf track.

A very strong field of 10 runners will line-up for this Non-Black Type event over 1800m at 15:40. It is race sixth on the card.

Last year’s runner-up and the East Cape reigning Champion Older Horse Grazinginthegrass (Alan Greeff) will also be in action.

The winner of the Listed East Cape Guineas, Perfection (Gavin Smith), will be seen for the first time this season and will have many supporters in what should be a thrilling affair.

National Champion Trainer Justin Snaith will be visiting from Cape Town with Warrior and Hoedspruit, the two horses with the highest merit ratings in the race.
