Punters face a competitive card at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Friday evening but they should be able to kick off with a winner and build up a kitty for the rest of the meeting.
Fortune Bay, who runs in Race 1, a Maiden Plate for fillies and mares over 1000m, should have no excuses and is confidently expected to bring home the bacon after finishing runner-up in all five of her races.
The well-bred daughter of William Longsword has been over-racing at Hollywoodbets Scottsville where she finds usually herself in front up the straight. She seems to settle better at the turning Greyville circuit and with the pace she has shown so far, should be hard to beat on the Polytrack.
This will be her first race on the surface but while one can never be certain until they have done it, her style of running indicates she will be suited to the Polytrack.
Michael Miller’s charge is well drawn at No 4 and has Serino Moodley back in the irons.
