Jack Milner: The scratching of Way Of The World on Thursday morning has paved the way for Mike de Kock coupling to fight out Race 6 at Turffontein.
This four-year-old Var filly was found to be off her feed and was withdrawn from this FM 91 Handicap over 1450m on the Inside track.
De Kock has two runners in the race. He originally had three, but Good Queen Bess has been withdrawn, but he still has Moments Like This and Golden Spoon.
Moments Like This won on debut as a juvenile but has only run twice since. She made her comeback last month and did well enough following a more than six-month break to run a five-length fifth behind Ecstatic Green over this course and distance.
She would have come on with that run and has Luke Ferraris up.
Golden Spoon, who jumps from gate No 4, is due a second career victory after being beaten less than 1.50 lengths in her last three runs. She carries just 52kg and with jockey Muzi Yeni in the saddle, she could be the surprise package.
