Capitalization can make a victorious return from a mid-season break in the Unibet Zero% Mission/EBF Novice Stakes at Kempton.
A £260,000 breeze-up purchase in the spring, Capitalization made his racecourse bow at Nottingham in June but he somewhat compromised his chance when missing the break and gave himself plenty of ground to make up.
The son of Mehmas eventually came home third, beaten just under four lengths, but he looked to be getting the hang of things at the finish and appeared sure to progress for the run.
Subsequently gelded, he can put up a more polished display for Hamad Al Jehani and owners Wathnan Racing.
Orionis can secure her third win of the campaign in the EBF Fillies' Handicap at Bath.
William Haggas' charge hails from the family of Almanzor and after one very average juvenile run, she has found her feet as a three-year-old in middle-distance contests.
Placed on her first two runs, she finally hit the target at Ripon in June and then made a successful move to handicap company from that maiden success, winning at Windsor a couple of weeks later.
Two subsequent runs have not yielded a victory but there was no shame in finishing fourth in a competitive Ascot heat before having to settle for secondat Salisbury last time out, when she let the eventual winner have first run and could not quite make up the deficit.
Her increased mark of 82 does make life more difficult, but Orionis is consistent and can make her experience count against a couple of more unexposed rivals.
Victor Cee can secure top honours in the Molton Brown Luxury Fragrance Hamilton Park 2-Y-O Series Final Nursery Handicap at Hamilton.
Last of six on his debut at this track back in May, he has progressed in each of three subsequent starts, improving on a third and second before finally prevailing over the same six furlongs he faces here last month.
Moving up from the minimum trip seemingly did the trick and while a 3lb rise is not ideal, a mark of 79 could still be workable.
At Lingfield, Velvet Rhythm can take home the first division of the Brown & Brown Restricted Maiden Stakes.
Trained by Charlie Johnston, the Awtaad filly looked in need of the experience on her initial run, coming a fair third at Ayr.
