Champion trainer Gavin Smith will be aiming to make it three wins in a row in the Betway Speedsters Stakes on Friday, writes HENK STEENKAMP. Smith won this Non-Black Type event over 1000m last year with Cruise Control and in 2021 with Stranger Danger. He will saddle Stranger Danger and Slim Jannie on Friday in the feature race at the meeting on the Fairview Turf track.
The Speedsters Stakes is race seven at 15:50.
