Adrestia looks an Ace at Windsor

Adrestia looked a promising filly in the first half of last season and can begin her three-year-old campaign with a win in the Fitzdares Sprint Series Handicap on Monday at Windsor.

However, the after-burners kicked in and the result looked inevitable from some way out, winning by a length. He looks very promising.

Dissident has had a few entries of late but finally makes his comeback in the Event Masters Novice Stakes.

A gelded son of Frankel, Dissident is a half-brother to trainer Ralph Beckett's Arc victor Bluestocking, but he is a way short of his illustrious sibling at present.

That said, he shaped with promise in two juvenile starts, with his last-of-four placing at Newbury a fair initial effort before he came home fifth when tried on the all-weather, with his rider far from hard on him when it became clear he would not be winning.

He is one for the shortlist on his return.

Irezumi has hit the bar the last twice and can finally strike the target in the Download The Star Sports App Classified Stakes at Brighton.

Second and third on his two most recent starts - both at the seaside track - Irezumi is on a basement mark of 49 and has looked capable of victory this term.

Ancient Times can add a third victory in 2025 in Pontefract's Yorkshire Family Day Sunday 22nd June Apprentice Handicap.

After being out of luck for the best part of three years, he has recovered his winning form this term, striking at Windsor in April and Catterick at the end of May.
