Garth Puller-trained Your Ladyship was racing in a form heavy race on her 1200m debut, with well backed Greenlight Queen powering home to beat the former’s stablemate, Lucienne. The latter has been improving nicely and will win soon, and this could be a strong form line in the making.
Your Ladyship ran on well to finish third beaten, 2.20 lengths at the wire, and importantly was only 0.30 behind more experienced Lucienne.
Puller, not tempted by races over ground, has kept her to the 1200m in a race in which she looks to be the horse with the most scope for improvement, and even though she will be giving away weight to many, she may prove to be a value for money bet.
