The Listed Wooalvington Stakes over 2400m heads up the card at Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Saturday and it could go the way of the triumvirate of trainer Justin Snaith Jockey Grant van Niekerk and owner Nic Jonsson.
They team up with One Way Traffic who looked to be returning to form last time out when a fast finishing third behind Senso Unico over 1800m at this course last time.
The six-year-old Dynasty gelding’s last win came at Hollywoodbets Greyville last year when running out a very easy winner of the Durban July consolation in a faster time that that of Sparkling Water who won the “real thing”.
A big future was predicted for Snaith’s charge but it did not happen. However, there should be another consolation for the connections this time.
He made that eye-catching comeback in a Class 2 event, won by re-opposing Senso Unico (1.5kg worse off) three weeks ago. One Way Traffic ought to have tightened up since and is weighted to turn the tables on his last-start conqueror.
