HUGE POOLS AND MORE MEGA PAYOUTS LIKELY THIS WEEKEND

Several TAB soccer customers have won buckets of cash recently with Soccer 13 payouts of R368,000 and R157,000, plus a whopping R341,000 Soccer 10 dividend on Wednesday. And there should be more mega payouts on the way this weekend with a guaranteed R30-million Soccer 13 pot, carryover Soccer Any 13 Xtra and Mega 10 bets and four cash-added pools.

EXPECT CHIEFS TO MAKE LIFE DIFFICULT FOR THE CHAMPS

The cash-added action kicks off with tonight’s Soccer 10, which starts with a R200,000 cash bonus from TAB in the pot that should fuel a total pool of over R2 million! It’s a challenging pool but attractive banker bets are home victories for Borussia Dortmund, Shelbourne, Shamrock Rovers and Tranmere Rovers.

Saturday’s range of pools will be more enticing for local fans with the Kaizer Chiefs-Sundowns showdown at FNB Stadium headlining cash-boosted Soccer 4, 6 and 10 pools and the carryover Any 13 Xtra.

This is a huge game for Chiefs and will act as a barometer of how much they have improved following a host of new signings and a new coach in Nasreddine Nabi. Chiefs endured their worst campaign in Premier Soccer League history last season, but they have made a flying start under their Tunisian boss, winning their first two league games of the season.

Several of the new recruits have already made their presence felt. Gaston Sirino has been superb since joining as a free agent when Sundowns let him go at the end of the last campaign. He scored his first Chiefs goal against AmaZulu as did Angolan central defender Inacio Miguel, who has also formed a solid-looking central defensive partnership with another fresh face Rushwin Dortley.

Bradley Cross has also impressed at left back and Nabi also seems to be getting the best out of Chiefs' youngsters, with 18 year-old Mfundo Vilakazi netting a brilliant winner against Gallants.

Nabi said he was a long way from happy after Chiefs beat AmaZulu midweek and that the team still has a long way to go. So reigning PSL champs Sundowns will start strong favourites tomorrow, but expect Chiefs to cause their rivals more problems than when they last clashed.

Banker bets for the weekend: Arsenal to win at home against Leicester and Liverpool for an away success against Wolves. Both matches are included in the guaranteed R30-million Soccer 13 pool on Saturday.

The big Soccer 13 comprises six English Premier League and seven Championship games. Bets bankers look to be home wins for Arsenal, Brentford, Hull and Watford with Liverpool to win away against Wolves.
