UCL qualifiers hotting up!

TAB midweek soccer pools get a pile of added spice with the start tonight of the second qualifying round for UEFA Champions League 2022-23 and then through the weekend TAB will add cash to Soccer 10 bets and other selected pools

There are four qualifying rounds before the line-up for the lucrative group phase of the 2022-23 Champions League is decided and the second of these rounds kicks off tonight and tomorrow.

Last week saw a bevy of entrants progress from the first preliminary round with losers dropping down to the UEFA Europa Conference League, and there are several newcomers who join at the second preliminary round stage.

They include several clubs who will have aspirations of moving through the remaining three rounds and into the group phase.

Turkey’s Fenerbahce, FC Zurich from Switzerland, Ukraine’s Dynamo Kyiv and Olympiakos of Greece are perhaps not as strong as in previous years when they would have been expected to make it to the elite list of 32. But they can still be expected to put up a big fight over the next two weeks of knockout matches.

There will be Champions League eliminators every week with Benfica, Monaco and PSV Eindhoven coming into the field in the third round and then a playoff round before the group stage, which kicks off in September.

You will find many of these qualifiers in TAB’s soccer pools and potential bankers this week are Malmo FF from Sweden, Bulgaria’s Ludogorets Razgrad,

FC Midtjylland from Denmark and the Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt.

The Europa Conference League continues on Thursday with new clubs also coming into the field, plus teams that lost in the Champions League last week and now drop down to the secondary competition. There are some mismatches that will provide bankers for TAB soccer pools.

The hectic pace of the Brazilian Serie A also continues this week as clubs dash through the fixture list in a bid to finish by November and thus allow some preparation time for the World Cup in Qatar.

Last weekend saw Corinthians slip from second place, but defending champions Atletico Mineiro and fast-improving Flamengo both won. Atletico and Flamengo should be successful again this week with Atletico at Cuiaba and Flamengo a good banker to win at home against relegation-threatened Juventude.

Rio giants Corinthians seem to have hit a bump in the road, but playing Curitiba at home seems an opportunity to get back on the right track.

Godoy Cruz have hit the front in Argentina’s premier league, but have a tough match at Huracan tomorrow. They will likely be overtaken by Newell’s Old Boys, who have a derby against struggling Rosario Central that they are expected to win.

So there’s good soccer galore to bet on in TAB soccer pools midweek and through the weekend there will be big cash boosts from TAB to selected Soccer 4, 6 and 10 pools. The details are in today’s TAB Sports Express.
