Godolphin and Charlie Appleby's Tremorgio can strike again at Southwell in the BetMGM: It's Showtime EBF Novice Stakes.
The gelded son of Dubawi made his debut in a 2000m maiden at Newmarket in October and was victorious by 2.25-lengths to make a promising start to his career.
He returned to action early this year when switching to the all-weather at Southwell in February, stepping up to 2400m and making light work of a five-runner novice to score by over 3 lengths.
He is back over the same course and distance again at Southwell and though he carries a penalty for his prior success, he is still the horse to beat.
Also at Southwell there is an interesting newcomer in the Weekly Free Bets With BetMGM Extra Maiden Fillies' Stakes. The horse in question is Blue Bolt, trained by Andrew Balding and owned by Juddmonte after they bought her as a yearling for E400,000.
She is by Blue Point and out of a French-trained mare called Mayhem, whose record as a racehorse includes victory at Group level and several placed efforts including third behind none other than Treve in the Prix Corrida.
As a broodmare she has produced two stakes performers so far and her latest daughter to take to the track is likely to be worth keeping an eye on as she makes her debut over 1400m under Oisin Murphy.
At Ffos Las, Paul Nicholls' Tutti Quanti can triumph in the RHN Travel VIP Transport Service Maiden Hurdle.
The five-year-old was last seen contesting the Michael O'Sullivan Supreme Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, a Grade One event in which he was sixth of 11 runners.
His prior form included a 0.5-length loss to subsequent William Hill Hurdle winner Joyeuse and a course and distance victory in November.
He is set a far lesser task than the Cheltenham race on his return to Wales and can get his head back in front under Harry Cobden.
On the same card Rebecca Curtis' Newton Tornado can finally break the lengthy run of second-placed performances he has been enduring this season.
His last four outings have seen him come home the runner-up, and amongst them are a defeat to Ben Pauling's smart Cheltenham Festival-placed mare Diva Luna.
That run over 4100m was his best so far and he returns to the same trip at Ffos Las, where a round of jumping improved from the one he produced last time at Chepstow should see him pose a real threat. - Press Association
