Time Tested can enhance his already impressive all-weather record with another victory in the CCR Handicap at Chelmsford on Friday.
In 13 runs to date for Michael Bell, he has finished in the first four on nine occasions, with a 50 per cent strike-rate on artificial surfaces and his unblemished record at this track making him of particular interest again.
The four-year-old was last seen at the Essex venue at the end of October, finishing in fine style to prevail by just under 2 lengths off a mark of 72, having scored off 4lb lower on his only previous visit.
The form has not worked out brilliantly but one of those that finished in behind has won twice since and a 4lb rise does not look insurmountable for a horse that generally runs well off a short break.
Time Tested could prove to be the second leg of a double for Bell, with Cardinal Point holding every chance in the CCR Handicap.
He was a winner off a mark of 61 over just shy of 2800 at this track in October and has placed in three outings since then, most recently when a length second in an amateur riders' heat over course and distance last month.
Cardinal Point was slightly hampered by a rival who was quickly pulled up and while it may not have been the difference between winning and losing, it certainly did not help his cause.
Stellar Vision posted a fine effort on his only start to date and is the pick in Wolverhampton's Win £250,000 With Betmgm's Golden Goals Maiden Stakes.
Sent off a 22-1 shot for a four-runner Newmarket novice event in October, Stellar Vision caught the eye as he rallied to be beaten just 2 lengths in third by an odds-on Godolphin favourite who already had a win on his CV.
Stellar Vision's pedigree suggests he would prefer a distance in excess of that 1200m trip and moving up to 1400m here should see him off the mark.
Latin looked to find 1400m a bit sharp when last seen, so a step back up in trip for the second division of the Join The Midnite Movement Handicap should suit.
While he has yet to win at beyond 1600m, his decent 2000m efforts show there is a bit of stamina there and after being eased 2lb for his latest fourth-placed run, Latin is one to be with.
Junker d'Allier can hit the mark over fences at the third time of asking in Ayr's Quiz Night At Golf Inn Prestwick Novices' Limited Handicap Chase.
He was up against it when finishing fourth to Lump Sum at the first attempt but he took a step forward for the experience, coming home 1.5-lengths adrift of Juby Ball at Carlisle subsequently. - Press Association
