TEN HAG TO STAY PUT
Erik ten Hag is set to be handed a new contract by Manchester United before the end of the year, despite the uncertainty surrounding the club’s ownership. United have been on the market since last November but the Glazer family are yet to decide whether or not to sell. Ten Hag, 53, has been steering the ship amid the speculation and after ending the Red Devils’ six-year trophy drought earlier this year is due to be rewarded with a new deal. The Glazers have sanctioned the start of negotiations over a two-year extension to the Dutchman’s deal which currently sees him earn 9-million pounds per year. Ten Hag’s current contract runs until June 2025.
