Jack Milner: There look to be some decent bets at Turffontein on Monday’s card and possible bankers for the exotics.
Best bet could be Kwite A Trip in Race 3. Paul Peter’s charge was all the rage last time and went off at highly prohibitive odds. However, he found one too good in Visiway. The opposition looks less imposing this time and hopefully Warren Kennedy can bring him home.
Peter also saddles Sekhmet in Race 8, a Classified Stakes over 1400m and she is also a short-priced beaten favourite. This time she will be taking on the colts but she does come in with just 54kg and will be highly competitive.
The third comes up in Race 2 where Stuart Pettigrew has Princess Philippa in a Maiden Plate for fillies and mares over 1400m and she looks ready to make her way to the No 1 box.
The daughter of Silvano looks head and shoulders above her rivals.
