October 2025

GET SET FOR TWO MORE BUMPER SOCCER 13 POOLS

After all the excitement generated by last weekend’s massive Soccer 13 pool, TAB soccer customers have fresh opportunities galore to score big this weekend! Saturday’s Soccer 13 carries a guaranteed R27.5-million Jackpot for outright winners and a R1.6-million carryover to Sunday’s pool should produce a total pool of R7 million.

TWO SOCCER 10 BETS KICK OFF WITH R150,000 CARRYOVERS

And there’s more, notably five other carryover-boosted bets that include two Soccer 10 pools starting with R150,000 carryovers.

The first of the carryover Soccer 10s is tonight and you can expect a total pool of some R2 million. Two Betway Premiership clashes get the pool rolling with Durban City at home to Kaizer Chiefs and Siwelele hosting Sekhukhune. The Durban clash is tough to call, but Sekhukhune are having a cracker season and are only a point behind log-leaders Sundowns with a game in hand. They will be keen to get back to winning ways after back-to-back losses and rate a banker bet to outgun Siwelele.

Dortmund to win away at Augsburg in a Bundesliga clash looks the standout banker in the pool and don’t be surprised if Wrexham halt Coventry’s six-match winning sequence in a Championship clash in Wales.

FOUR BANKER BETS FOR R27.5-MILLION SOCCER 13

One of the key clashes in Saturday’s bumper Soccer 13 is the London derby between Spurs and Chelsea in the English Premier League on Saturday evening at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The game is one of seven EPL clashes in the pool with Championship matches making up the remainder of a challenging bet likely to pay bombs.

Thomas Frank’s Spurs have been brilliant away from home in the league, but on their own patch it has been a different story and a midweek loss to Newcastle in the Carabao Cup will not have boosted morale.

Chelsea won 4-3 at Wolves on the same evening to make it into the quarter-finals, but Enzo Maresca’s side are not in prime shape heading into this London derby. They have a long injury list, including match-winner Cole Palmer and top central defender Levi Colwill, and were horrible when suffering a surprise 2-1 home loss to Sunderland last weekend.

Chelsea do have an excellent record away to Spurs though and this needle clash with their London neighbours should bring out the best in them.

The Liverpool-Aston Villa clash kicks off the pool and the home side will be desperate to win after six defeats in their last seven games, including a midweek defeat to Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.

Liverpool’s chief problem lies at the back in key central defenders Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate, who are currently nowhere near as secure as was the case last season.

Best bankers in the pool are home wins for Brighton, Fulham and Crystal Palace, while log-leaders Arsenal should pack too firepower for their rivals in an away game at Burnley.

The big game locally on Saturday is the Tshwane encounter between Mamelodi Sundowns and Pirates. Sundowns are three points above Pirates on the log, but have played two games more so this is a huge opportunity for the Buccaneers to break Sundowns’ dominance. The game is M1 in the R150,000 carryover Soccer 10.
