TAB’s Soccer 13 has created dozens of instant millionaires down the years and there are prospects of the bet generating another bomb payout tomorrow, when a carryover of nearly R6 million is set to produce a total jackpot pool of over R12 million for players who get all 13 matches correct.
The carryover pool headlines another bunch of opportunities to score big on TAB soccer bets this weekend, which kick off with a R100,000-added Soccer 10 pool tonight.
The 2025 UEFA Women’s Euro in Switzerland is heading for an exciting finale after Italy and England became the first countries to progress to the semi-finals, and the remaining quarter-finals both offer bankers bets for TAB soccer pools.
Reigning world champions Spain take on hosts Switzerland tonight in the third of the quarter-finals and M4 in the cash-added Soccer 10. This should be a waltz in the park for the Spanish, who have reeled off eight victories in succession and scored 12 goals in winning all three of their group matches at the tournament.
Spain have not played the Swiss since trouncing them 7-1 in 2003 and are 1-10 favourites to give their rivals another soccer lesson tonight.
The last quarter-final is tomorrow when Germany, the most successful team in the history of the Women’s Euro, take on a French side in supreme form at St Jakob-Park in Basel.
The match kicks off tomorrow’s carryover TAB Soccer 13 and best advice for punters is to make a banker of coach Laurent Bonadei’s France, who picked up maximum points to top Group D.
They took down reigning champions England 2-1 in their opening match before thumping Wales 4-1 and then finishing off the group stages with a 5-2 win over the Netherlands.
Goals for France come from all over the pitch with their 11 goals in the group stages coming from nine different players.
Germany have won the Women’s Euro a record eight times, but have not lifted the trophy since 2013. In the final of the 2022 edition, Germany were beaten 2-1 by England after extra time.
They did finish third at the Paris Olympics last year, beating Spain 1-0 in the third-place play-off to take home a bronze medal.
At this year’s Women’s Euro, Germany had to fight back from going 1-0 down to beat Denmark 2-1 in their opening match. They then beat Poland 2-0, but lost their final group match 4-1 to Sweden to finish as runners-up in Group C.
Germany bring the best history to this Euro quarter-final, but France have by far the best recent form with Bonadei’s side having won 11 international matches in a row heading into this clash.
It should be hard fought, but expect France’s goal-scoring prowess to see them through in what is likely to be a high-scoring game.
Other bankers in the pool are home wins for Molde in M4 and Hammarby, who are at home to Brommapojkarna in M11.
