TAB WEEKEND SOCCER HIGHLIGHTS: 14 - 16 November 2025

November 2025

SATURDAY’S CASH-ADDED SOCCER 10 SET TO PAY BIG

Big-league club soccer is on holiday for the next few days with the spotlight shifting to international action and the final two rounds of UEFA qualifiers for next year’s World Cup. But there are grand opportunities galore to score big with TAB soccer bets, none more so than Saturday’s R100,000-added Soccer 10.

MANCHESTER CITY WOMEN SET FOR 10TH STRAIGHT WIN

This is a bet that could deliver a mega payout. The headline match is a Manchester derby in the English Women’s Super League with log-leaders City at home to the United women, who are currently four points behind their cross-town rivals in third place.

Anything can happen in a derby, but with home-ground advantage you have to fancy City to win this one. They lost to Chelsea in the opening match of the season, but have won all nine games since with two League Cup victories and seven straight wins in the league.

The rest of the pool comprises English League Two clashes and the only stand-out banker looks to be log-leaders Walsall at home to Colchester who trail them by nine points in the league.

ENGLAND SET FOR 8 WINS OUT OF 8 IN WC QUALIFIERS

Getting back to the international action, we will know the 12 winners of the UEFA World Cup Qualifying groups by early next week. All the group winners automatically qualify for the 2026 World Cup finals in the United States, Mexico and Canada. The runners-up proceed to playoffs in March with the top four also qualifying, which gives 16 European countries at the expanded 48-team finals.

Switzerland (Group B), France (Group D), Norway (Group I) and England (Group K) have already qualified. England maintained their winning record in the qualifiers when beating Serbia on Thursday night and should make it eight wins from eight against Albania on Sunday.

Norway also play their final group match against Italy in Milan on Sunday. Victory for the Italians will put them level on points with Norway, but they have a vastly inferior goal difference and are already doomed to trying to qualify in the playoffs next year.

The weekend action kicks off this Friday night with a Soccer 10 pool that gets a R100,000 bonus kick start from TAB. Mostly tough games to call, but Glentoran in the Northern Ireland Premiership and Slovakia look set to register home victories.
