TAB opens betting on Durban July meeting

TAB betting for Saturday’s racemeeting at Greyville opens on Tuesday.

The 12-race meeting includes the R5-million Hollywoodbets Durban July as well as nine other feature races.

Bettors will also have the opportunity to bet into three pools that will be bolstered by substantial carryovers.

Firstly, we have a Pick 6 carryover of R2 million which should yield a likely pool of R12 million.

There will also be a carryover of R2 million to the Quartet on the Durban July, a very popular bet in the 18-horse race, and that is likely to reach R10 million.

Finally, there will be a R100,000 Pick 3 carryover to the last three races on the 12-race card and that has a likely pool of R500,000.
