TAB betting opens for HDJ meeting

TAB betting on Saturday’s race meeting at Hollywoodbets Greyville opens on Monday.

The meeting, which incorporates the R5-million Hollywoodbets Durban July, contains 12 races with a plethora of Exotic bets, many incorporating massive carryovers, on offer.

The Pick 6, which begins in Race 4, will kick off with a R2-million carryover and is likely to reach R20 million. There will also be R2 million kick-starting the Quartet Pool for the Durban July (Race 7) and that is likely to climb to R15 million.

There will be three Jackpots on the card, Races 1 to 4, Races 5 to 8 and Races 9 to 12, and Jackpot 3 will comprise a R500,000 carryover with a likely pool of R3 million.
