See It Again and Royal Victory are the best horses competing, both with merit ratings of 125, but this 1400m trip is too short, and the pair both have the Grade 1 Betway Summer Cup over 2000m at Turffontein on 29 November as their target, so won’t be pushed to win this.
Glen Kotzen-trained On My Honour could take advantage, even though he is also an entry for the Summer Cup. He is one from one over the distance and has yet to win over further than 1600m.
He should relish being dropped in trip.
Greyville specialist See It Again has a solid record when returning from a break but may be at the twilight of his career and could battle to give 5.5kg to four-year-old On My Honour who is on the upgrade.
From draw No 1 On My Honour could get the run of the race and looks worth a solid each-way bet but covering with Swingers and Exactas with the Michael Robert-trained well-performed star, is advisable.
