Believe The Storm has hit the bar on his last two starts but the second division of the Unibet More Extra Place Races Handicap gives him a perfect opportunity of victory at Kempton. Hailing from the family of Derby winner Pour Moi, Believe The Storm made a winning debut over seven furlongs at Wolverhampton in December but came unstuck at that same distance when conceding 16lb in novice company next time out. Beaten a length and a quarter, Charlie Fellowes' charge was not disgraced and built on that again when edged out by a head off a debut mark of 83 when stepped up to a mile at Yarmouth. Back on the all-weather off just 3lb higher, Believe The Storm should be very firmly in the mix once again.
Racingbreaks Ryder can strike in the first division for Charlie Hills. He too was narrowly bettered on a recent turf start at Goodwood and should appreciate a move back to the all-weather given the recent dry spell and prevailing quick ground.
Mwaki has a notable bit of form in the book ahead of the Winning Experience With Moulton Racing Nursery Handicap at Yarmouth. He failed to settle at all on either of his first two runs, but posted an improved effort on his most recent outing when third to Rising Power in a Sandown novice, despite being sent off a 200-1 shot. The application of a hood and switch back to five furlongs seemed to help, with Richard Spencer sticking with that combination for this.
Conjecture can take a forward step by winning the AKS Skips Maiden Fillies' Stakes. Second on Beverley on debut, Sir Mark Prescott's charge looked dearly in need of the experience and can put it to good use.
La Cadalora is the choice as she drops back in distance for the Supalite Group Fillies' Handicap at Haydock. James Fanshawe tried the four-year-old at an extended 14 furlongs but after getting run out of second place in the final strides, it perhaps makes sense to revert to a middle distance.
Andrew Balding and Colin Keane can chalk up a Newbury double via Dictal and Assiri Heights. The first-named runner tackles the IRE Incentive, It Pays To Buy Irish EBF Fillies' Novice Stakes having disappointed a little when only fourth on her initial run. A daughter of Frankel out of the well-related Classical Times, it is too early to give up on her just yet. Also in the Juddmonte silks, newcomer Assiri Heights takes the eye in the Fidelity Energy Green Future Novice Stakes having cost 700,000 guineas as a yearling.
Okavango Delta can put a lacklustre latest run behind him when he lines up in the Secure Air Parks Edinburgh Airport Parking Handicap Chase at Perth.
