SSU BUILD FORTRESS
SuperSport United became only the eighth club in Premier Soccer League history to finish the season unbeaten at home, something not even record-breaking champions Mamelodi Sundowns could achieve this term. SuperSport, who were forced to move from their home at Atteridgeville last month after the PSL found the stadium below standard, completed their 15-match home programme on Saturday with a 1-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace. They won 10 and drew five of their home league matches this season with a goal tally of 23 for and eight against for a total haul of 35 points out of a possible 45.
