Splicethemainbrace should be too strong for the opposition in Tuesday’s feature race on the Fairview Polytrack.

She is the one to beat in the R150 000 Aloe Stakes, a Non-Black Type event for three-year-old fillies, over 1300m.

The daughter of Master Of My Fate, trained by Alan Greeff, will be looking to make it seven wins from nine starts, when only six runners face the starter for race three at 13:40.

Splicethemainbrace jumps from pole position with Richard Fourie in the saddle.

Happy Holly (Gavin Smith) looks like the one to challenge the favourite but is only 0.5kgs better off at the weights after finishing 2.25 lengths behind Splicethemainbrace in their last clash.

The Aloe Stakes is the first leg of the Pick Six and Splicethemainbrace will be a very popular banker.

The Greeff-Fourie combination will also have plenty of support in the second leg of the Pick Six, the first leg of Jackpot One, at 14:15.

Walkonthewildside looks ready to win over 1400m but her lack of experience makes it risky to banker her in bets.

If you do not banker this three-year-old Gimmethegreenlight filly, Ice Cap (Smith) is the backup.

Whatever Next (race 6) and Sweet Nothings (race 8) are also huge runners from the Greeff-Fourie combination.

The mighty stables of Greeff and Smith should fight it out for most of the prize money throughout the day.
