Snaith Racing may not have won the Hollywoodbets Durban July, but they have two horses in the top four, namely Jet Dark (second) and Do It Again (fourth).
“We couldn’t be happier.
“This run again proves that Jet Dark is definitely the best weight for age horse in the country. Carrying top weight, it was a great run.
“Unbelievable run by Jet Dark,” said Jonathan Snaith after the race.
The legendary Do It Again, who has won the July twice, was very restless in the parade ring and was fitted with a hood when entering the starting gates.
He misbehaved when the hood was removed, forcing Aldo Domeyer out of the saddle.
Things went better second time round and despite the earlier antics, he ran a great fourth.
“What more can Do It Again do?
“At the top of the straight he looked a sure winner. He stayed on amazingly and usual he just fight on and fights on.
“He is an amazing horse and there’s a big chance that he will be back next year,” said Jonathan.
There is no doubting Do It Again’s ability and his love for the July.
“He has two wins, a third and two fourths,” said co-owner of Do It Again Nic Jonsson. “And next year he can win again.”
