Jack Milner: Justin Snaith and Anton Marcus team up with two runners at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Friday and both have winning chances.
The Greyville meeting was put together quite late in order to replace the one originally scheduled for Fairview, which was called off due to an outbreak of Covid-19. Racing will take place on the Polytrack.
There could be some good bets at Greyville, particularly in Races 1 and 4. Champion trainer Snaith has not had as good a winter season as usual this year in KwaZulu-Natal but he teams up with Marcus in both races.
Allaroundtheworld has only raced twice but he looks to have some ability and from No 5 draw, could get punters off to a good start.
This son of Oasis Dream had his first two runs at Kenilworth and was sent off a 2-1 favourite on debut over 1000m. He showed for the first 600m but raced greenly and faded to go down 8.75 lengths.
His second outing was over 1400m and Allaroundtheworld improved markedly, and while still green, did run on well to finish fourth, beaten just 1.30 lengths.
He takes to the Polytrack for the first time, and as long as he takes to the surface, will prove very hard to beat.
Snaith will also be delighted Silver Stardust in Race 4 has pulled a better draw this time.
The well-bred Silvano colt was not disgraced in his last two starts from bad draws. Marcus has stuck with him, and he is expected to get the job done.
