All single-race TAB bets on Race 1 at Scottsville on Sunday have been refunded and the field will apply in multi-race bets like the BiPot.
This follows betting pools not closing timeously and numerous bets being taken after the race was run.
An investigation has been opened to determine the reasons for the late closure of the pools.
Simultaneously TAB apologises to customers and will investigate ways to ensure there is not a recurrence.
