Polytrack move to benefit Foreshore

After having made the decision on Tuesday to move the meeting scheduled for Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Wednesday to the turf track at Hollywoodbets Greyville, a further 10mm of rain at the track overnight has seen the meeting moved again, this time to the Polytrack.

This has seen the card decimated with 38 scratchings attributed to the change of surface.

Nevertheless, that should all work well for Foreshore who lines up in Race 7, the River Indigo Handicap for fillies and mares over 1400m.

This race has already had to be rescheduled from 3 December after the meeting was called off due to bad weather and this time just five runners have been left in the field.

But Duncan Howells-trained Foreshore appears to be the horse to beat. She was already considered the runner to beat when there was a full field of nine runners but with four withdrawals, the three-year-old Wylie Hall filly really stands out.

Add to all that the fact she won her penultimate race on the Polytrack over 1600m by three lengths, it makes her stand out even further, and she has to be

banker in all bets.

Sean Veale has won both races when he has been aboard, including the Polytrack event, and he is back on board for this run.
