Peace In Our World can be victorious at Fairview on Friday when he contests Race 4, the Racing Association Plate over 1400m.
There is no reason why the Gavin Smith-trained runner cannot beat stable companions Norton Sound and Safari Blue again, despite the extra 3kg he shoulders.
The swing in weight may suggests Norton Sound will be the main threat, but he has since been gelded while Peace In Our World ran a decent third behind Herodotus last time and is sure to come on from that run.
Safari Blue finished fourth in that race, which was his first back following a two-month layoff, so he should also go a lot closer this time.
However, as Warren Kennedy appears to be the first-choice jockey for the Smith yard, it is therefore significant that he is aboard Peace In Our World.
Cape Town trainer Justin Snaith has not been winning many contests in the Eastern Cape early this season, but returns with Keep It Secret, who did win at this course in June. This Pathfork-gelding looks the biggest threat to peace.
Snaith could well have a winner later with Love Happens in Race 6, a Pinnacle Stakes over 1600m.
Although this gelding does seem a difficult horse to get home first, his consistency could finally be rewarded against the rivals he meets here.
