Party is sending out the right Vibes at Exeter

Party Vibes only faces three rivals in the Southwest Rail Solutions Mares' Novices' Chase at Exeter and they are nothing like the class of animal she came up against last time out.

She finished a very creditable third behind Gordon Elliott's Shecouldbeanything in a Listed chase at Bangor, less than 9 lengths adrift.

A repeat of that run puts her in a different league to anything in this contest.

Red N Yellow showed enough last time out to suggest he will be winning the Southwest Rail Solutions EBF Junior "National Hunt" Hurdle for the in-form team of Johnson White and Philip Hobbs.

Lac De Constance looked like being a very smart horse in his younger days but circumstances have prevented him from reaching the level that once looked likely.

Nevertheless, he showed in the way he travelled through his last race before falling late on that he still possesses a big engine and he can defy top weight in the Southwest Rail Solutions Handicap Hurdle.

Rosscahill can build on the impression he made on his debut under rules by remaining unbeaten in the Gwyn Brace 86 Still Galloping Strong Novices' Hurdle at Ffos Las - if the meeting survives an inspection.

Trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies and owned by the El Rincon partnership that includes Sir Alex Ferguson, the former Manchester United boss is certainly enjoying his extensive foray into jump racing.

What with L'Eau Du Sud already a Grade One winner this term and the likes of Caldwell Potter and Protektorat among the ranks, as well as the hugely promising Potters Charm and Regent's Stroll, Ferguson and his pals are being rewarded for their big spending.

Rosscahill cost a rather paltry £70,000 when bought by Willy Twiston-Davies just over a year ago but he looked a good buy when winning over 4400m at the Welsh track in October.

He has been entered a few times since but the recent rain will have been just what connections were waiting for, given he won a point-to-point over 4800m on heavy ground in Ireland.

Rosscahill is up against two more previous winners and a couple of other promising types but hopefully he can continue to progress.

Neil Mulholland was no doubt disappointed when Blue Las was beaten on her hurdling debut last week but she should have little trouble going one better in the Happy Birthday Amelia Johns Mares' Maiden Hurdle.

She is soon to turn seven, yet that was only her fourth racecourse start, so she is clearly a late developer.

However, she obviously has an engine, as she showed when winning two bumpers, which was why connections strongly fancied her on her hurdling debut.

You never quite know what you will come up against in a maiden hurdle, though, and Jig's Forge from Ben Pauling's yard readily brushed her aside.

He looks pretty smart, and there will be nothing of his class back in mares' only company.

A 5lb rise might not be enough to stop The Scorpion King from following up his win at the track last time out.

Oliver Signy's charge was value for much more than the winning margin and he is the one to beat in the Adept GRP Cabinets Handicap Chase.

Simon and Ed Crisford's Don Pacifico finished third in a decent contest on his debut and looks the one to beat in the second division of the BetUK. It's Where The UK Bets EBF Novice Stakes at Southwell.

The Jack Jones-trained Antalya was only beaten a length on debut, so it would be no surprise to see her open her account in the Irish EBF "Confined" Fillies' Restricted Novice Stakes at Chelmsford. - Press Association
