PARIS LASS IS THE ONE

The Tab 4Racing App Novice Plate for fillies and mares looks like the perfect race for Paris Lass to notch up her second career victory.

The three-year-old Visionaire filly is well weighted to win over 1000m at Friday’s Fairview Polytrack meeting.

Her last outing was a good third place on the turf behind the very capable Three Rocks and Paris Lass should be too strong for the other eight fillies in the race.

With the Gavin Smith stable in great form, all indications are that Paris Lass is going to be a very popular banker bet, race 7 number 1, at a competitive meeting. Muzi Yeni retains the ride.

Trainer Alan Greeff had a rare winless outing last Friday but can get into the number one box straight away this time with the three-year-old filly Concerto.

Concerto is the favourite to win the first race and can strongly be considered as a banker in the first leg of the Bipot.

The Place Accumulator starts with the second race and the Pick Six gets underway in the third race where all eyes will be on Wolfram.

Wolfram has been very consistent for the Tara Laing stable without winning, but could get it right this time over 1900m.

With some competitive races later on the card, many punters will go light with only Wolfram (race 3 number 1) and Fujisan (Kelly Mitchley, number 5) as the selections in the first leg of the Pick Six.

The first Jackpot starts with an open looking event over 1900m but Paris Lass can be the banker in the last leg.

Cool Winter (Greeff) and First Origin (Smith) are the main runners in the eighth and last race, which is the last leg of the second Jackpot.

The first race on the Public Holiday is off at 12:25.
