Ladyofdistinction found just one runner too good last time out but that winner, Destiny Of Fire, looks a promising sort from the Mike De Kock yard.
Two winners have come out of that race. Third-placed Hot Lava, who was 0.80 lengths behind Ladyofdistinction, was the most recent to win and there are even more fair types, such as My One And Only and Hodgepodge, that are winners in waiting.
But of even more relevance, the filly who beat the Michael Roberts-trained full sister to high-class Gladatorian, Destiny Of Fire, was beaten a short head in last week’s feature for up-and-coming fillies, the Beach Beauty Mile (Non-Black Type), and that is the best pointer.
Zena Rose and One Path are useful and improving types that should run well in Race 2, a Maiden Plate for fillies, but Ladyofdistinction should be too strong. especially now going over the 1600m for which she is bred.
Venniker has been timing her runs to perfection and Ladyofdistinction looks a ready-made banker.
